Language & Communication

This program supports young English learners and students transitioning into international or American school environments. Lessons focus on building confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and classroom communication through practical, age-appropriate activities.

As a former ESL student myself, I understand the challenges of learning in a new language. My goal is not only to improve English skills, but also to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves, participating in class, and connecting with their peers.

Meet Our Team

Our team is made up of student mentors, writers, artists, and educators who share a passion for learning, creativity, and community service. Most of our mentors arrived in the United States as ESL students and understand the challenges of adapting to a new language, culture, and educational system.

How Our Mentorship Team Works

Every student writer has different strengths, interests, and goals. To provide more personalized support, submissions may be reviewed by different high school mentors based on the type of writing and the student's needs.
